Who We Are

A bunch of imperfect people, seeking to follow JESUS and embody the good news of his LOVE for all. As part of the worldwide CHURCH, we meet together to worship God and encourage one another to grow in faith and character. We are delighted when others … ANYONE … joins us on the ADVENTURE.

Meet our Elders

Wilma Grierson

I am very happy to be a part of this church family where I have been nurtured for 27 years now. I love the warmth and acceptance here and am so pleased to welcome others into a closer walk with Jesus.

Sandra Murray

Sandra Murray from Aviemore who came to faith in Kincraig in 1992 and has been part of the church family since. An accountant to trade, who is also involved with community projects and loves skiing, motor bikes and marzipan…oh and a Christian festival now and again.

Paul Bayton

Paul moved with his family to the area in 2008 to work at Alltnacriche, an outdoor centre in the north west corner of the parish owned by Scripture Union Scotland. They quickly settled at Alvie and Insh, and really value the friendship and support the church has been since then. He enjoys biking and paddling and is a blue-sky-day-only skier. In the church, you may come across him doing bible teaching on a Sunday. He serves as session clerk and is sometimes press ganged into using his guitar. Favourite bible character is Nehemiah. Alternatively – Balding where he’s not greying, loves his family (most of the time), enjoys being outdoors (biking or paddling) and is amazed that God works in us and through us.

Rev. Charles Finnie

I’ve been a minister for over 30 years now and have been here since 2019. I like meeting with people and hearing their stories. I always say that if you want to be or do something great, look for what God is doing and  ask if you can join in!

Lynne Finnie

I came to Kincraig 4 years ago from Hawick in the Scottish Borders, trading hills for mountains. I love my job as a teacher, being with my family, making and sewing and … chocolate!  I love more that God is always able to do ‘immeasurably more than we could ask or imagine’  – and I have a BIG imagination!
